About Dennis:
Dennis Bartolucci is a Marco Island resident, retired CPA, and former senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers running for City Council to bring disciplined financial management, accountable leadership, and a strong focus on residents’ quality of life.
Dennis and his wife Pam have been homeowners on Marco Island since 2011 and have been full-time residents since 2022. Like many who choose Marco, they value its peaceful neighborhoods, natural beauty, and close-knit community. With four children and eight grandchildren who regularly gather on the island, Dennis is personally invested in preserving the character and livability of Marco Island for current residents and future generations.
Dennis holds a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. Until his retirement, Dennis was a licensed CPA in Massachusetts, Ohio and Illinois.
Over a 32 year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including 20 years as a Partner, Dennis held senior leadership roles including the oversight of the Firm’s Midwest Region consulting business, risk management, and client service, involving hundreds of millions of consulting revenue and several hundred partners.
His experience includes accounting expertise, financial analysis, long term planning, and strong organizational accountability. He would apply these skills to enable the City to operate efficiently, spend responsibly, and deliver
reliable services to residents.
Earlier in his career, Dennis served as a Director at the Connecticut Public Utilities Commission, where he conducted management audits of major water, gas, electric, and telecommunications utilities. This background gives him a strong foundation to apply governance oversight for the municipal water and sewer business.
Dan is an alumnus of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School, St. Ann Catholic School, and Naples High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 2004 and in 2022 he furthered his education with an MBA from the Florida Gulf Coast University with a focus on data analytics. During his undergraduate studies, he also obtained his real estate broker’s license. After graduating from the University of Florida, Dan returned home to Naples and served as Chief Financial Officer for his family’s construction company and started a real estate firm.
Simultaneously, Dan began a financial consultation firm for local businesses, and that is where he found his niche. In 2020 his consulting company became his full-time focus, leading to the formation of his current firm, Barone & Cola CPAs. His firm specializes in small business consulting and operational accounting in addition to tax preparation and planning. As the Vice President of Barone & Cola CPAs, Dan collaborates closely with clients to cultivate trusting relationships to provide fractional CFO-level guidance. He and his company are enthusiastic about growing and addressing future challenges, all while providing support to the leaders of our community's small businesses.
Dan’s local community involvement began after graduation from the University of Florida. For over a decade, he was a volunteer coach for the Naples High School Cross Country and Track teams. When his children became school-aged, he began volunteer work with Lake Park Elementary (LPE) and Gulfview Middle School (GVMS). He currently serves on the LPE Parent Teacher Organization (“PTO”) board as past treasurer, LPE School Advisory Committee (“SAC”), GVMS PTO as Treasurer, and GVMS SAC. Dan is also proud to be a founding member of his local neighborhood association, Sun Terrace Neighborhood Association and was on the inaugural board as Vice President. His work with the association ensured Sun Terrace’s inclusion in the City of Naples governance. For the first time and moving forward, his neighborhood association is now able to be a member of the city’s President Council. In 2024, Dan was selected and began serving on both the Audit Committee for Collier County Public Schools and the Planning Advisory Board for the City of Naples. Most recently he was a member of the Class of 2025 of Leadership Collier.
Dan enjoys traveling, especially cruising, and spending time with his wife, Cassie, their two daughters, Lorelai and Shalane. When the family is traveling, they are always eager to get back to Naples for their dog and cat, Loki and Thor. Dan enjoys being active and is an avid runner when his body allows for it. You might spot him on a run around town, and he would be thrilled for everyone to join the team in running this city together.

Dennis believes that we need to:
-
Stop polluting the Island with partially treated sewer liquid (2 million gallons per day).
-
Bring financial and accounting skills to city governance.
-
Manage growth and intensity responsibly.
-
Address infrastructure needs thoughtfully and responsibly.
Dennis Bartolucci wants to
improve the balance of Resident
Interests and Commercial Interests.
